We took a few hikes while camping, because K is now old enough to do short hikes! We took one along a river and up to some waterfalls. This is a view along the way.

Here's the waterfalls at the end! The spray was very wet! We had lunch nearby before coming back down.

K took this picture. It is a big old tree stmp with a younger tree growing out of the middle of it! We saw lots of examples of tree roots climbing around, over and through big old stumps in this forest.

This was an old downed tree that looked like a whale!
